I hope everyone is having a good weekend. It seems like a relatively quiet July for me. This coming Tuesday I'll be playing with Darrell Barr and Friends at LB's Pub in St. Albert, Alberta, and probably will be there on Tuesdays for the rest of the month. I expect I will also be playing at the Bluegrass Brunch at Three Vikings on Sunday, July 21.  I'm looking forward to the Blueberry Bluegrass Festival in Stony Plain on the August long weekend - it is one of the top festi vals on the circuit and is always a great time. I'll be there to hang out and jam some.  The Edmonton Folk Music Festival will be here soon - August 8-11. I'll be there, playing with Andrea House ( http://Andreahouse.com ) and Mitch Watkins on Stage 7 on Saturday at 3:05 PM. We'll be doing songs from Andrea's new album, "Fire", which is available on iTunes (as are Andrea' earlier records) and which you should definitely check out. I hope everyone had a good Canada Day weekend!  I spent most of mine in California, attending the wonderful Kate Wolf Music Festival.  As a bonus I got to attend a concert in Novato, California on Sunday night featuring Bill Kirchen and three other members of the Lost Planet Airmen, including one of my all-time steel guitar heroes, Bobby Black.
